[ltp] how to eject a drive from the ultra bay?

All,

The system is FC6 with an updated kernel with the IBM modules 
configured. Is it possible to hot-swap the ultrabay. Attempts to do this 
result in a system 'freeze'. What is required for configuration and 
operation to do this?
