If acpid isn't running, thinkpad-acpi doesn't report keypresses (while
video still does, with some delay).

I'd be fine not running acpid but is there another way to put thinkpad
to sleep without using acpid? (maybe trough hal but I can't use
gnome-power-manager while it doesn't work fine with the 'video' module)
