Do you mean brightness_enable? I don't see a brightness_force
parameter... Aside from that everything looks OK. Passing
brightness_enable enables /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness, otherwise it's
disabled.

I've got the X61 Tablet with the latest BIOS. If you send me a list of
kernels/thinkpad patches I should try, I'll see what I can do ;-)
