I have a T60p with opensuse 10.3. I have seen some guides online
regarding how to get it set up with linux, but for some reason, my
wireless card is an atheros, while a lot of other people got T60p's
with intel wireless cards. Also, my video card is a firegl 5250.
Are there any guides for me to get everything in the subject working well?
Wireless works mostly with the subversion madwifi drivers. There are
still some stability issues, and every once in while, I have to
restart my laptop to get it to work (usually this is after I try to
resume after a hibernate or something).
3d and desktop effects worked on opensuse 10.2, but it was unbearably
slow. Now I can't get it to work at all in opensuse 10.3. I built
the fglrx kernel module, modprobe fglrx, saw it in lsmod, etc, but I
couldn't quite get it working for some reason.
Any current guides or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!
