Thanks for measuring your screen.
If one devides 331mm by 1920 the answer is .172 dpmm.
this compares with my 1600 measuring 305mm gives .19dpmm.
So your right, they have improved the screen resolution.
It would be interesting to compare them along side each other with the
same image .
Ihad the chance to replace the originalscreen with a new one some 2 yrsago,
the difference mainly is the screen does not have a yellow tinge like
the old one and the backlight is about 20% brighter.
Funnily enough it was a replacement screen from a Dell inspiron 8000.
I still have the old one put by as a spare.
