Well, I get the mother of all headaches if I smell the high-grade isopropyl
alcohol, so your mileage may indeed vary. On work places, you have to use
gloves and a breathing mask to deal with pure isopropyl alcohol, for
example.
Maybe some people (like myself) are just more sensitive to it, but still,
are you sure you got non-dilluted isopropyl alcohol? If what you got is
already dilluted to kingdom come, it is not a wonder it doesn't make anyone
ill...
Of course, it is easier to just buy isopropyl alcohol at 50% and use that
one directly, instead of getting it at 99% and dilluting it like I do :-)
