Do you have 32 bit chroot installed? If yes, perhaps you mounted your proc =
dev=20
directory with the bind command in fstab - so shutdown would hang endlessly=
,=20
because the order of unmounting is wrong.

Endlessley (3 or 4 minutes).

Have a look in /etc/default/schroot, if the following parameter is set=20
correctly.

SESSIONS_RECOVER=3D"end"=20

This is just a hint - because i ran into shutdown troubles on my 64 bit sys=
tem=20
as well
