Hi,
I still think you miss the undervolt option... it's really a
compile-this-module, run-a-script to get the right voltages thing.
All in all about 30-35 min work.

Throttling was created to keep the CPU from burning down the
PC. It is not efficent and never was mean to be. It just has
to keep the CPU below ... say 110°C even if the heatsink is
gone. Look at the video here (and things will hopefully make

The problem is the switch from one state to another. Each
switch uses a lot of energy and takes some time w/o any
code running. With throttling you switch all the time
at a high rate (no matter if you need or don't need
to switch...) and you lose the switch-time.
