No joy - I removed the whole file, and took the acpi_sleep stuff out of
my cmdline.
It *does* seem to be tied to X - in console it can suspend (but loses
the console on resume). The same nvidia drivers under 2.6.24 suspend
fine. The OSS nvidia drivers crash hard.
Module unload, drop to console, num/caps LEDs flash, drive does final
sync and drive activity led flashes, and then locks dead.
