Yes, I know but it does not work with me (debian lenny and kernel 
2.6.25). When I use 254 the cycle counts keep increasing with the same 
rate. So I just switch it completely of with 255.

I need to look into this some time but I don't have the time now and I 
spent already a few days on this issue.
