just one minor issue for me:

I had to move from e1000 to e1000e when jumping from 2.6.26 to 2.6.27.
They finally must have removed support for my intel eth with the e1000
driver on my T60. I had just never bothered to change it, since e1000
worked since I have had the laptop.
