[ltp] Jerky video replay: T42/FC10

T42 Thinkpad / FC10 / SXGA+ / Radeon 96xx video card

Upgraded to FC10, and now when playing DVDs, the video jerks about every
minute or so. Doesn't matter if using xine or vlc, same problem.

Under FC8, DVDs played fine. Under Mandriva 2009, DVDs play fine. So, it's
not a hardware problem, just an FC10 problem.

Tried stopping services, including makewhatis, mlocate, and prelink,
but it didn't fix it. Maybe it's some other background process sucking
up resources.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.
