[ltp] Increased power consumption after BIOS upgrade

Hi,

after a BIOS upgrade from 2.17 to 2.22 on a Z61m I think power
consumption went up dramatically as long as I have the ipw3945 driver
loaded. (the same is true for bluetooth/uhci_hcd).
AFAIR when the wireless lan was "idle" C3 state had around 90% before
the the update and now it is around 45%.
(kernel is 2.6.23.13).

Anybody experienced the same?
Do I have to expect problems if I downgrade the BIOS?
