Temperature clearly makes a difference, yes. It's not clear to me how
much difference it to battery life to do either:
1) Always keep the battery charge between 35% and 85%. (I.e., never
start charging until it drops below 85%, and stop charging at 85%).
2) Charge the battery up to 100%, but then don't start charging it
until it drops below 85%.
3) Change the battery up to 100%, and then don't start charging until
it drops below 95%.
#3 is the BIOS default, and I believe it makes a difference to the
battery life to do #2 and #1, but the question is whether the
difference is enough to be worth it.
