To debug EC-Linux communications, we need:

1. ThinkPad model data, BIOS and EC version.  If it is not the newest EC
version, we usually ask the user to upgrade to the newest EC firmware first
(and newest BIOS for that matter).

2. A very, very good idea of other software that is running at the time the
errors happened, and the conditions where the errors happen.
