What editor do you use with mutt? In vim you can enter =C2=B0 by pressing
Ctrl+K, D, G. In X you can enter =C2=B0 by pressing Compose, ^, 0. In GNO=
ME
you can enter =C2=B0 by pressing and holding Ctrl+Shift, then typing uB0.
Just don't confuse the degree sign (=C2=B0, U+00B0) with the masculine
ordinal indicator (=C2=BA, U+00BA) or with superscript zero (=E2=81=B0, U+2=
070).
Alternatively, you could always convert the temperatures to Kelvin ;-)
