[ltp] T61 brightness/volume

Yeah i'm running linux mint (variant of ubuntu 7.10, though no kernel
changes)
and brightness works out of the box, while simply changing the Volume
Control applet settings to control PCM instead of Internal Speaker made
volume buttons work as well.

While futsing around with the kernel (trying to upgrade my thinkpad_acpi
version for fn-f5 functionality) i noticed that ubuntu made a change or two,
and i believe are using the "video" acpi module to control the brightness to
some extent.

Unfortunately i don't know C so i can't really help on that, but i did
notice Henrique stating a few times that if you can use that module to
control brightness, to go for it.
