Looks like an old thinkpad-acpi.  The new ones know some firmwares return
+128 instead of -128, and map it to -128.  Kinda bad if we start getting
chips that survive to 128C, but until then I won't bother with it.

Well, update that thinkpad-acpi if you want to be sure it is not part of
whatever problem you are having with your X60.

Also, check for BIOS upgrades.
