And that's why thinkpad-acpi doesn't issue input events for them on IBM
thinkpads by default, but people insist on breaking it (well, it is their
problem).  I don't recall what is done on the T60, it might be doing the
wrong thing...  But that also depends on the firmware version, and I only
support the latest firmware (this is negotiable, but it will not be cheap
;-) ).
