I think you should be able to get decent 3G and GPS hardware for every
notebook having either USB or PCMCIA/ExpressCard (so do I with my 3G
card). But of course integrated hardware is nicer.

Just get enough batteries :)
IIRC there is some extended battery for the X300, but I dont have a
link. (Yes there is one for T61p too :>)

What about a X61?
Has 3G, has Intel GMA, diskspace, docking port, is much more cheaper
and style is in all ThinkPads.
