I've actually been wondering about this, since I carry my T61p in a
LowePro backpack. 

What is the long-term effect of it riding on my non-linear back when I
carry it to work and back on the subways? Am I slowly "curving" the
laptop? Should I put some sort of rigid material in there to stop it
from being subject to that?
