[ltp] (Un)docking Thinkpad X40 in Ultrabase X4

Hi *,

I have difficulties with my Thinkpad X40. After undocking from the 
Ultrabase X4 the machine seems to lock. At least mouse movement and 
typing isn't possible anymore.

On the ibm-acpi homepage I read that it is necessary to do a
echo "undock" > /proc/acpi/ibm/dock.
But unfortunately there is no such file there in my proc fs, though the 
thinkpad_acpi module is loaded.

My distribution is Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy.

Any suggestions on that?
