Hi,
I just made an experience on my T61 (8897-CTO). I put the laptop to
sleep this morning and then resumed it this evening. I took the battery
status before and after, and here is the result:
corsac@hidalgo: date -R
Thu, 13 Nov 2008 08:19:06 +0100
corsac@hidalgo: acpitool -B
Battery #1 : present
Remaining capacity : 52430 mWh, 99.77%
Design capacity : 56160 mWh
Last full capacity : 52550 mWh, 93.57% of design capacity
Capacity loss : 6.428%
Present rate : 0 mW
Charging state : charged
Battery type : rechargeable, LION
Model number : COMPATIBLE
Serial number : 38
[asleep for a day]
corsac@hidalgo: date -R
Thu, 13 Nov 2008 21:35:46 +0100
corsac@hidalgo: acpitool -B
Battery #1 : present
Remaining capacity : 42890 mWh, 81.62%, 02:28:25
Design capacity : 56160 mWh
Last full capacity : 52550 mWh, 93.57% of design capacity
Capacity loss : 6.428%
Present rate : 17339 mW
Charging state : discharging
Battery type : rechargeable, LION
Model number : COMPATIBLE
Serial number : 38
So 52430 =E2=86=92 42890, that means 10W just while asleep. I find that way=
to
much, but I'm not sure how this could be fixed.
BIOS is 2.21 (latest version afaik), kernel is 2.6.28-rc4.
If anybody has some info on this, it'd be appreciated.
Cheers,
