I'm using debian unstable with a touch of testing. It depends on the packages,
some things need more work, some less. I mostly commented on what can be made
to work.
I got just about everything working on this machine (card reader works with sd,
didn't test others). The small things that don't work at the moment
resume from hibernate with nvidia drivers 177 and up (mixed reports on the
tuxonice mailing list, seem to be some option that hasn't been pinpointed yet).
rfkill on the wireless atheros card (there are three options, 2 intel one
atheros for this laptop), and the hardware switch is also not connected with
this card. With the intel 4965 it takes a non-free firmware but it's easier to
kill the antena.
There seem to be some issues with the microphone on this machine (skype) the
previous one was ok, didn't look to far into it yet.
