It seems like the x400 was just a rumor and wont be released.
The x300 though seems to be about the same size as my current t60 so
thats what I'll go for. Less resolution but also less weight which I
guess is a fair trade.
I guess my mail was mostly a rant against widescreen since it's a really
stupid format for laptops. It increases their size (the new t laptops
are _huge_) but decreases (vertical) screen resolution. It's a lose-lose
situation, except for the manufacturers who can concentrate on building
just 16:9 displays :)
