[ltp] No USB after restore

lsusb gives
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
but the ports are dead!
i.e adding/removing a usb device is not recognized,
that is, dmesg shows no change and flashdrives etc. are not
seen.
Again this is normal, everything works, after a reboot.
