I know that i can control it manually with sysctl
sysctl -w dev.wifi0.softled=3D1
sysctl -w dev.wifi0.ledpin=3D1
there are a few different options for ledpin. 0 was off or orange.
solid was 1 (can rember what 2 is) and 3 is blink blue and white
traffic activity.
I don't know if this helps at all. (But I think it may)
