I've been pretty curious about the same issue with my 7666-34G model. It's
pretty amazing, that even the local IBM itself cannot determine which port
exactly their machine is supplied with!

I googled for x61s with express slot, and it looks like the newer types
actually have Express 54 card slot.

I can see, that my machine has a Ricoh RL5c476 PC Card slot. How would a PCI
Express bus identify itself ?
