Hello, and apologies in advance if this is a dumb question.
The thinkpad-acpi README[1] refers to the /proc/acpi/ibm/dock file.
This file does not appear on my ThinkPad X61 with Ubuntu 8.10
installed and upgraded to Jaunty (4 March 2009).
There is, however, a /sys/devices/platform/dock.0 directory with the
following
files:
$ ls -al /sys/devices/platform/dock.0
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 0 2009-03-05 14:25 .
drwxr-xr-x 17 root root 0 2009-03-05 13:26 ..
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 14:26 docked
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 13:51 flags
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 13:51 modalias
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 2009-03-05 13:51 power
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2009-03-05 13:26 subsystem ->
../../../bus/platform
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 13:51 type
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 14:25 uevent
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 13:51 uid
--w------- 1 root root 4096 2009-03-05 13:51 undock
Does this mean that /proc/acpi/ibm/dock has been replaced by the above?
