While I don't own an X200 (I have the X40), I do own one of the little Asus
Eee PC netbooks, and I have had no problems whatsoever with its built-in
SSD. I have had some 10 different flavors of Linux on it so far with nary a
problem.
I also just got a super deal that was too good to pass on an Acer 5735z with
2GB of RAM. Today, I upped that to 4GB and so far, both Fedora 10 Live and
Ubuntu Intrepid have worked fine, recognizing all 4 Gig.

Has anyone used the SSDs with these machines? How do they fare?

Does Linux see all 4G of RAM?

Also can you tell a difference with the LED backlight? (this might be
moot as they seem to be available only with LED these days)
