No, I think it is less evenly illuminated than the normal displays, at
the bottom of the screen it is brighter. While switching away from my
X40, I noticed that on the X200s immediately.

But one interesting note: I feel that the normal screen of my X40 is
better and more evenly illuminated than the normal screen on my
replacement X200, too!!
I have the two next to each other right now, and the screen of the X40
looks more even.
