[ltp] New WiFi card for Z61m?

Hey guys,

I wonder whether I could upgrade the Intel 3945 MiniPCI-E card of my
Z61m to something newer (like a Intel 4965 or an Atheros)?
Physically this should be easy, but does the Z61m also has that nasty
BIOS check and if yes, is there a way to avoid it?

On the X31 that's easy with Matthew's code from
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Problem_with_unauthorized_MiniPCI_network_card
but there are few reports from 6x-Series and none from Z-Series in the
wiki, and I'd like not to brick my precious DVD-player ;)
