Gosh, http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/pipermail/linux-thinkpad/ has
everybody's from address replaced by a generic string.
World's record in Spam Harvest Paranoia.
That means for postings from people like me who only use From:
jidanni@jidanni.org with no name, there is no trace of who sent the
message at all, except for it being left intact here on the previous
line inside the message body -- my name is "linux-thinkpad" according to
the pipermail archives.
Thank goodness there is still
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.hardware.thinkpad
which, even if they were asked to crank up the spam protection, never
would reach the level here on your pipermail archives.
Ah, a pristine raw message:

Actually for me, the main use of obfuscation is to protect my email _from
the projectors_: I am jidanni aaattt jidanni ddoott org in case
jidanni@jidanni.org gets "helpfully protected" and I use SpamAssassin so
I don't need to play hide and seek with my email address, like some bill
collector was after me.
I tried to CC those in charge but one must send separately it turns out...
