i have a 'fairly' sanitised .config i use with debian testing.
i have uploaded a copy here:

the only thing i should point out is that i have selections for
tuxOnIce. if you drop this one into your kernel source, i believe make
menuconfig or similar should clear those options out as it won't find
them in a vanilla source tree.
hope this helps at least as some starting point.
