[ltp] WG511 PCMCIA with 2 Mac addresses (Mandriva)

Richard:

Both ifconfig and /sys/class/net/eth0/address reports the same MAC address: 
00:09:5B:E6:C5:AA (vendor: Netgear)

I am currently downloading some heavy files, I will try what you asked for 
once finished.

Did you notice that your bogus MAC belongs to vendor Intersil (prism chipset 
manufacturer)? It is really curious...
