I use the advanced mini-dock with a T500. I can report that the
hot-undock works fine, the audio output is good quality and the fanless
design means there's no ambient noise increase. All dock hardware was
automatically detected by Ubuntu 9.10 and reconfiguration was only
needed for adding an extra monitor.
