Hello,
after upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04 I observed that /etc/sysfs.conf
isn't used (despite of
devices/platform/smapi/BAT0/stop_charge_thresh=75 battery is charged
to 100 percent). That's because sysfsutils isn't running:
----------
chris@skull-tp:~$ ps aux | grep sysfs
chris 3022 0.0 0.0 3328 808 pts/1 S+ 17:58 0:00
grep sysfs
----------
Trying to start it manually prints:
----------
chris@skull-tp:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/sysfsutils start
[sudo] password for chris:
* Setting sysfs variables...
* unknown attribute
bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/0000:03:00.0/power_level
[ OK ]
----------
But it's still not running:
----------
chris@skull-tp:~$ ps aux | grep sysfs
chris 3075 0.0 0.0 3328 808 pts/1 S+ 17:59 0:00
grep sysfs
----------
I guess starting fails because of the unknown attribute. Indeed
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/0000\:03\:00.0/power_level doesn't exist
anymore. What's the right replacement for
"bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/0000:03:00.0/power_level=5" in sysfs.conf?
Best
Christoph
