[ltp] W500 WUXGA display panel quality?

I used to have a T61p with nvidia that did 1680x1050. It was pretty decent
and the nvidia drivers where very stable, hardly ever gave me trouble. My
T61p died and I got a W500 that also does 1680x1050, this one has ati
graphics.
I could never get the drivers to be stable enough, I ended up switching to
the integrated Intel graphics from the BIOS and all my troubles where
resolved.
