On opensuse 11.3 suspend/resume works nearly flawless, I can't remember the
last time a suspend failed (it continued blinking the moon but failed to power
down). This is on a T400, also on 11.2 and even 11.1 I found it to be pretty
solid.
Only using intel integrated graphics though, the radeon card boots with
graphic noise for me.
