Hi all,

I am a bit worried about the battery life of my X200T. I remember
reading on the list that people with Thinkpads easily can last for 2-3
or more hours with a fully charged battery (when not having SSD). I
checked the manufacturer specifications and it states that the battery
life in X200T with Vista and a 4 cell battery is of 4.2 hours. Today I
tested the battery life myself (I've never done it since I bought it),
both on Linux and Windows.

First set-up:
Almost fully charged battery (93%)
OS: Windows
Bluetooth Off, Wifi on.
Battery profile: Balanced (not max performance, not max battery)
Activity: Browse (mainly forums), check webmail, RSS, chat via IM,
appply one small update. As you can see, mostly surfing.
Time until the battery indicator became orange and started blinking:
1:20 (10% battery remaining).

Next set-up:
Almost fully charged battery (97%)
OS: Arch Linux
Bluetooth Off, Wifi on.
Using laptop-mode tools and having tweaked the system with the
recommendations of powertop.
Activity: Check webmail and a some web pages (a few with some youtube
videos). Made some work writting code on vim and running a few python
programs.
Time until the battery indicator became orange and started blinking:
1:15 (10% battery remaining).

I am a bit disappointed that I can barely reach 1:30... I've tried to
take care of my battery: I almost always work plugged to AC, when I am
on AC I pull out the battery, when I do not use the battery for a long
time it is stored with a charge of 70-60%... What I am doing wrong? Or
is this time battery normal?
