Hallo, Martin,
Du meintest am 13.08.11:
> That fan finally gives up. I pinned governor to "powersave".
> I get
> deepdance:~> acpi -t
> Thermal 0: ok, 52.0 degrees C
> with values round from 50-57 degrees.
> The laptop definately feels hotter.
I've just run "sensors" on my Thinkpad T22:
thinkpad-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
fan1: 0 RPM
temp1: +50.0°C
temp2: N/A
temp3: N/A
temp4: N/A
temp5: +52.0°C
temp6: +46.0°C
temp7: +31.0°C
temp8: N/A
Room temperature is 25 °C.
Thinkpad T23:
thinkpad-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
fan1: 0 RPM
temp1: +52.0°C
temp2: N/A
temp3: N/A
temp4: N/A
temp5: +46.0°C
temp6: +48.0°C
temp7: +31.0°C
temp8: N/A
--------------------
"fan 1 0 RPM" is wrong: the fan is working, in both machines. Maybe
"temp7" is the temperature of the outblown air.
Viele Gruesse!
