Flexview is gone for good. Today you should get the LED-versions. Not
comparable to Flexview, but at least you get enough nits to work
comfortably indoors. The outdoor versions make sense too, but they are
usually limited to lower resolutions.

And avoid the T410 / T510. Some bodyparts are clipped on and will break
easily if you ever have to remove them for upgrades. Some plamrests
develop problems even never remove them and handle the system with care.

The T400/T500 are nice. But wait another month or 2, the T420/T520 should
be available shortly.

The Intel-GPU are well supported and very power efficient. The switchable
versions with 2 GPUs are supported, but, depending on the system and  
driver,
you have to restart X to change the GPU. Go Intel unless you really, really
need 3D speed.
