Well I have an annoying freeze bug with Radeon KMS on my ThinkPad T42 from 
2.6.34 to 2.6.36, if I remember correctly fixed with 2.6.36.1 or 2.6.37.

Since then, its fine on my T42. But then the T60 uses a different chip 
generation.

I recommend looking at kernel.org and freedesktop.org bugtrackers for 
similar bugs.
