[ltp] X201s vs X201 vs X220

Hello

I may  have to replace my old X60s.
(It seems that the mother board broke down, the machine does
not reboot shows strange error messages and  asks for the BIOS passwd)

Now I just looked it up and I am a little  confused.

Almost for the same prize you get:
X220 or  X201s or 201.

My most important criteria are:

    -  weight

    -  battery life 

    -  Linux compatible 

    -  good old analog modem. Linux compatible 

    -  I don't need the latest graphic or intel (or AMD) processor

Can anybody comment on this?


Also it seems that the X220 does have any longer the
distinction between s and non-s. But it does not ship a
analog modem as well.

Do USB analog modems compatible with Linux still exist?
