Hi
For my audio project setup I've recently switched from using a
USB-connected audio interface to a firewire-connected one.
The good news is that the interface (Echo Audiofire 8) is working great
with FFADO (2.0.99+svn1985-2) under Debian6 and I have a sweet sound
going on.
The bad news is that because the firewire port on the T500 is just
underneath the left wrist-rest, the connector and cable are prone to
nocks and getting snagged in clothing, as well as making keyboard use
quite uncomfortable.
Does anyone have any hardware mods or other suggestions as to how to
address this problem? It seems like such an obvious ergonomic failure
that I'm sure I can't be the first to encounter it, although I can't
find anything about it by googling.
Thanks in advance,
M
