Suspend to ram is very sustainable with mine. I haven't monitored it
precisely but it sure lasts longer than a night when starting with half a
battery (I have the 9 cells battery, by the way).

Hello,
I should've asked, how long does suspend go on a full battery for you?<=
Leaving the laptop suspended with 50% battery exhausted the battery
during the night. =A0I guess some device is not being deactivated. =A0I
RAM should be using the battery.

Actually hibernate (or "suspend to disk") is working with this la=

stable kernel. No testing is needed for battery, the computer is shut
down.

For people with problems: I found the reading of <kernel
root>/Documentation/power/* priceless, while knowing that to gnome:
suspend=3D invoking S3, hibernate=3DS4.
