[ltp] T60p idle GPU temperature?

Dear All,

What temperature are other people getting for their GPU? Mine is running 
at about 76 degrees.

With the system completely idle (sitting at the desktop, doing nothing, 
CPU idle), I get temperatures of

cat /proc/acpi/ibm/thermal:
58 41 41 74 29 -128 30 -128 47 57 62

when the fan is running at level 1.

The 4th one is the GPU temp, and it will climb to 80+ if allowed to.

Do I have heatsinking problems? I know the GPU heatsink on these 
machines is quite poor. Is there any way to throttle GPU power 
consumption further? I don't mind if the GPU is really slow; all I want 
is for my text-editor to run silently!
