I have a T520 with a dual core CPU and OpenSuSE 11.4. The kernel and/or X was
not stable on the Sandy Bridge CPUs. I updated to a new vanilla kernel every
month or so until it stopped locking up, version 3.2.4-1-vanilla. The mike
doesn't work, but everything else does and no lockups.
