no, because in my understanding, the nvidia card renders it picture into 
the intel card-framebuffer, and the intel card is conntect to the display.

nvidia does not support this setup in the propritary drivers on linux.

but .. maybe i'm wrong :-) the feature is called "nvidia optimus" maybe 
found find more information for the laptop you desire.
