Unlike the nVIDIA graphics chip, which on T61 and machines of the same
generation from other vendors is infamous for failure, a CPU can easily
be replaced. On the T61 this involves including the T9300 or T9500 CPU.
Other than that, according to my own experience with Debian, both T61
variations work just fine in Linux. Only the infamous nVIDIA chip might
inadvertedly fail some day, so better stick with Intel graphics.
